Ashlee, David, Kassidy (grade 5), Skyla (grade 3) - Queneesh

From Ashlee:
We had very little knowledge of Montessori education prior to moving to the Comox Valley. Queneesh is our catchment school, and very shortly after moving we had the opportunity to attend an information session about the program. I was so impressed by the intermediate students, and how they spoke about their experiences. I was intrigued by the materials used within the classroom, and drawn to the focus on grace and courtesy, as well as practical life skills. We are thrilled with our decision to attend. Our children are thriving, successful, engaged, and most importantly happy to be at school every single day. The independence and confidence they gain at school extends to the way the conduct themselves at home, and beyond. We, as parents, are given so many opportunities to participate, or observe classroom activities, and field trips. I could go on forever. We feel very lucky to have this opportunity.
