Montessori in Comox Valley Schools

Montessori Programming is offered at Queneesh Elementary (K-7) and Courtenay Elementary (K-1, as of 2021-22 school year). Comox Valley Schools offers the Montessori program as a "program of choice" as part of the public school system at no additional cost to families. Montessori students complete the BC school curriculum following a Montessori approach.​

Comox Valley Schools provides the school, the classroom, the teachers, administration, and support staff, funding for replacement and repair of classroom Montessori materials. Materials for new classrooms are provided by fundraising by the Comox Valley Montessori Society.
